The main character is Mrs Nebo the wife of a very important official of the African Front, Mr Clive Nebo.She was off medium height with a smooth complexion skin.She was very stubborn and doesn't care about other people and she always get what she wants.She is very rich and wears expensive cloths and jewellery.She is short tempered but easy to please.
PLOT
The story started off when the two women, Mrs Nebo and the friend Margaret got off the Mercedes Benz and entered the gates of the Oriental Plaza. Mrs Nebo was the wife of an important officer of the African Front, Mr Clive Nebo who was designed as the Foreign Affairs Minister.The two ladies came for shopping since they were both crazy over shopping. As they were strolling around the shopping mall, Mrs Nebo saw a beautiful Indian dress and she bought it, but unfortunately there wasn't a scarf that matched with that dress in the shop were she bought it. She was looking for a scarf that matches with her dress badly that she even walked from shop to shop, until she came to Mr Sakurs boutique were they found a perfect scarf. The scarf was costing one hundred and ten rands but Mrs Nebo only had ninety five rands, she than offered to pay by cheque but the shopkeeper Mr Sakur doesn't accept cheques. Margaret interfered boasting about Ms Nebo but Mr Sakur didn't mind her at all because he rans his business according to his rules. The three were arguing that the shopkeepers nearby came to see what was happening, Mr Sader a friend of the Mr Sakur was among the nearby shopkeepers that came to observe the incident. The shopkeepers were shocked when they heared that Mrs Nebo was the wife of the future foreign minister. Mr Sader asked to be excused so they make an agreement with Mr Sakur about giving the scarf as a gift from all the traders in Plaza. Mr Sader bought the scarf for her and she was very happy to have the scarf. When she was leaving the shop, She told Mr Sakur that there will be no peace for people like him in the new Democratic South Africa.
